Canadarm2

Canadarm2 is the large robotic arm of the International Space Station, formally the Space Station Remote Manipulator System. It is the main part of the Mobile Servicing System, Canada’s contribution to the station, which launched in 2001. The arm moves equipment and supplies, supports astronauts working in space, services instruments and payloads attached to the station and helps with outside maintenance. It can travel along rails on the Integrated Truss Structure on a mobile cart. In 2026 the 58-foot arm itself needed repair: Jessica Meir and Christopher Williams spent a spacewalk during Expedition 74 working on it.

Crew-12
Sophie Adenot's epsilon mission set a record for the longest stay in space by a European astronaut, as ESA's welcome-home video puts it. This page covers the crew's last days: the handover to Crew-13, the undocking, the splashdown and the weeks that followed.
